1. Coverage for Manufacturing Defects
This warranty covers the repair or, at Tamron Bangladesh's discretion, replacement of any component found to be defective as a direct result of a fault in materials or workmanship introduced during original manufacture, provided the lens has been used under normal operating conditions and in accordance with Tamron's published instructions.
2. Exclusions from Coverage
This warranty does not extend to damage or malfunction arising from normal wear and tear, accidental impact or drops, exposure to sand, dust, moisture, liquid immersion, fungus growth, corrosion, or any attempt at repair, modification, or disassembly carried out by a party not authorized by Tamron. Cosmetic wear that does not affect optical or mechanical performance is also excluded.
3. Shipping, Handling & Insurance Costs
Except where otherwise required by law, the owner is responsible for all costs of packaging, mailing, transport, and insurance incurred in sending a lens to an authorized service center, whether for local, out-of-area, or international warranty service, as well as for return shipping where applicable.
4. Non-Transferability
This warranty is issued exclusively to the original registered purchaser named in this registration and is strictly non-transferable. Ownership changes, resale, or gifting of the lens do not carry warranty coverage to the new owner.
5. International Warranty Activation
Where international warranty service is desired, the registered owner must contact Tamron Bangladesh to formally request international warranty activation within fourteen (14) calendar days of the original purchase date. Should an international warranty claim subsequently be made, the owner shall bear all lens transfer fees to and from the applicable international repair center.
6. General
Tamron Bangladesh, through its authorized distributor Eminence Distribution Ltd., reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the serial number, proof of purchase, and registration details before honoring any warranty claim. Providing false or inaccurate information in this registration may void warranty coverage.
